1. What this page covers

This statement is about the South Florida Filing Index, published by Sun Coast Digital Media LLC, specifically: how an issue is assembled, which parts of it a machine decides, and who is answerable when it gets something wrong. 2. Where every listing comes from

Each listing is copied out of the Florida Division of Corporations daily corporate data file, the state’s own record of what was filed that day. Software reads the file, keeps the filings whose principal address falls in one of the nine cities we cover, and lays them out. No listing is invented, inferred, enriched or guessed. A business name, address, filing type and date on this site are the ones on the state record, reformatted and nothing more. Where the state’s record is blank, the page says so rather than filling the gap.

3. No industry category

The Index does not assign an industry category to any business. Sunbiz records carry no industry code, and a listing shows only what the state file says.

The weekly figures, the headline count, the per-city totals, the busiest day, are counted from the records, not estimated.

4. What is not generated

We do not use AI to write anything about a specific business. There are no generated descriptions of what a company does, no summaries of its prospects, no inferred owners, no assessments of whether it is legitimate, solvent, licensed or worth your time. There are no generated reviews, testimonials, quotes or photographs of people anywhere on this site. The share image for each issue is drawn from that issue’s own counted figures.

Editorial wording that recurs across issues, the standing explanations, this page, the methodology notes, is drafted with AI assistance and read by a person before it ships.

5. Who is accountable

A named person, not a system, is responsible for everything published here: Alex Alligan, Sun Coast Digital Media LLC, Florida document number L26000306690. Correction and removal requests are read and actioned by a person, not routed to a bot. You can always reach that person through the correction form or the removal form; neither is answered by a bot.

6. Getting something corrected or removed

Because the pipeline is automatic, errors reach the page without anyone seeing them first. So removal is deliberately the easiest thing on this site: ask us to take a listing down and we will, at no cost, with no account, no proof of ownership and no reason required. A removed listing is deleted, not hidden, its address returns a genuine “page not found”. Corrections work the same way.

7. About this statement
